One glance at this weekend’s calendar, and I just don’t know how I will fit it in. Salt Lake is a happening place, and here’s a taste of the best going on this coming week.

Get out and laugh tonight. Comedian Barbara Gray is in town from Los Angeles, and will be taking the stage with Christopher Stephenson, and Toy Soup at Mo’s Neighborhood Grill Friday at 9pm. Tickets are only $5 at the door.

Love British cars? Of course you do. Their classic design and tight turning radius. Saturday is British Field Day at Liberty Park. Cars on exhibit, racing, and even some classics for sale from 9am-3pm. $5 admission for adults, kids free.

Then head over to Gallivan Center for Craft Lake City, the biggest display of homegrown artisan goods. Jewelry, clothing, accessories, and much more are for sale. Support local, real people and buy unique quality gifts.

The Utah Symphony is performing The Music of Queen at Deer Valley Saturday night. It’s a great venue to pack a cooler of wine and snacks, sit on the hillside, and enjoy some great music. Tickets range from $30-85. Pack a blanket and enjoy the cool mountain air.

This weekend’s Summer of 35mm film is Office Space. One of the most hysterically accurate looks at the real world of office life plays at Tower Theatre Friday and Saturday at 11pm, Sunday at noon, tickets are $5.

Sunday brings the Urban Flea Market at Washington Square. From vintage goods to arts and crafts, to the KRCL CD sale, there’s a little something for everyone at this new community event. Check out the Star Wars collectibles being sold.

Speaking of KRCL, Wednesday is KRCL’s Night Out at The Rose Establishment. It’s an after-work event open to the public, to kick back and have some food and drinks from 5:30-7:30pm. The Rose Establishment has food, coffee, and beer. It is located at 235 south 400 west.

Must hear music:

Friday –  Rock: King Niko, Suicycles, Fat Apollo, Nathan Spenser and the Low Keys at Liquid Joe’s 9pm $5
Saturday –   Roots/jam: John Butler Trio at Kingsbury Hall 6pm $25
Sunday – Blues: Jonny Lang, JJ Grey & Mofro at Red Butte Garden 7pm $43
Monday – Folk: Donna the Buffalo at Canyons 7:30pm $10/12
Tuesday – Funk: 100 Monkeys at The Complex 6pm $15
Wednesday – Reggae/rock: 311, Sublime with Rome at USANA Amphitheatre 6:30pm $29-59
Thursday – Goo Goo Dolls, Michelle Branch, Parachute at Deer Valley 6pm $35

Spread the news, we can take back SLC for those who have fun! Push the “+1” button.

Damn, I wish that I’d seen this this morning. Friends I met at a tech conference were looking for things to do tonight and tomorrow.
