Wizards, llamas, rastafarians, and goths. This is what’s in store for you this week.

This weekend is Reggae Fest at Ogden Ampitheater. Featuring local and touring bands like The Dirty Heads, The Supervillains, The Codi Jordan Band, Sober Down, and many more for two days of relaxing in the sun. Tickets are $15 per day, or $25 for a 2-day ticket. Shows are Saturday and Sunday from 1-9pm.

Incidentally, it’s Llama Fest Saturday, July 16. Head down to Spanish Fork for llama relays, music, petting, and food. It’s $3 for adults, $1 for kids. (311 west 8500 south Spanish Fork. Take I-15 exit 257).

The newest and last Harry Potter movie is now in theaters, and Geeks Who Drink will be hosting the party that the grown up wizard fans have been craving. The Geeky Cauldron: A Harry Potter Quiz is Thursday, July 21. It’s a special cash-prize quiz, so bring $5 cash per player to enter, and know your magic. Spread the word, as the more people who come, make for bigger prizes. RSVP on Facebook, Yelp, or more info on GeeksWhoDrink.com.

Were you a goth in High School? Was Confetti your club of choice? Well it’s time for a reunion Saturday night at Area 51. Club Confetti Summer Reunion is on from 9pm-2am with DJ Evil K. (July 16)

Kick back, relax, do what you’re meant to this Sunday and sip a bloody mary on the great patio of The Garage, while listening to the tunes spun by DJ Jesse Walker & friends from noon-6pm. If you haven’t been, The Garage has an incredible atmosphere, and very comfortable setting to drink a day away. It’s located at 1199 North Beck Street. It’s just a couple minutes north of downtown.

Don’t forget about the classic movies each weekend at Tower Theatre. This weekend is The Godfather part II.

Get out and enjoy life. There’s always something worth doing, so get in the habit. Coming soon to WWJDinSLC, the local dining guide! So keep an eye here, tell your friends, and learn more about our community.
