Worry not about what you don’t have, instead let us relish on what we do. Like a top-of-their-league hockey team that is looking really good this year. Our Utah Grizzlies are home against the Colorado Eagles Friday & Saturday night. If you’re missing live sports, this is fast-moving, hard-hitting action that you should experience. Tickets for Friday’s game are all $11, and unlike other arenas, there’s not a bad seat in the Maverik Center. You can get there by TRAX, taking the green line, or there’s plenty of convenient parking.

Saturday night, head to The State Room for a great night of music as Fictionist releases their newest EP. The Devil Whale will also be performing, and that means you get to see two of Utah’s hottest upcoming bands for only $12. The State Room is a great venue to really enjoy the music, and this show will not disappoint.

Monday night is the time to show your Futurama knowledge. All Hail the HypnoQuiz is at Devil’s Daughter this Monday, Nov 14 at 8pm. $5 cash per player, and you can have a team up to 6.

Next week is the inaugural Salt Lake Design Week. A week to raise the public awareness of the impact that all design disciplines— graphic, product, fashion, architecture, advertising, etc.—have in Utah. Workshops, exhibits, and other events throughout the week, like the opening night Live Design Tournament. Monday, November 14 you can watch designers compete and mingle in front of an audience. If you’re a designer wanting to compete, email info@sldesignweek.org. For those who love design and want to support the event, get your tickets at http://sldesignweek.org/.
