Avoid the nonsense of big-box stores, and let’s keep this holiday local. Here’s a quick list of places to shop and things to do. A quick edition of Around The SL,UT.

Wheeler Farm is holding a Christmas Farmers Market. November 25-26, and December 10 from 9:30am-1:30pm. Get some great local goods and even have breakfast with Santa for $8.

Through December 3, The Old World Christmas Market is held at the Grand Hall at Gateway from 11am-9pm daily (closed Sunday).

All tickets for the Grizzlies are only $11 tonight. Bring a teddy bear to donate to kids in need. After the Grizzlies first goal, toss the bear on the ice.

Wednesday, November 30, join City Weekly for their free night at Brewvies to see The Nightmare Before Christmas at 8pm.
